Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Dip the tablet in lukewarm water just to moisten it. Lie on your back and gently insert the tablet into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. It is best to use it just before bedtime.
Triben V 100mg/100mg Tablet VT is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Clotrimazole. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth in the vaginal tract by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering. Together, they treat your vaginal infection effectively.

Triben V 100mg/100mg Tablet VT is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
