Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Artemether and Lumefantrine, which treats malaria. These medicines work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lumerax 20mg/120mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
