Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Duonem 300 ER Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Duonem 300 ER Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Duonem 300 ER Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Duonem 300 ER Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Duonem 300 ER Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
