Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the pessary into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label.
Anca-V Vaginal Pessaries is a combination of three medicines: Clindamycin, Metronidazole, and Clotrimazole, which treats vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Metronidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering.

Anca-V Vaginal Pessaries is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Anca-V Vaginal Pessaries should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Anca-V Vaginal Pessaries is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
