Lablol 20 mg Injection is an alpha and beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
Related Warnings
Taking Labetalol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Lablol 20 mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lablol 20 mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lablol 20 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Lablol 20 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lablol 20 mg Injection is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for better dose adjustment.
Lablol 20 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lablol 20 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
