If your vision is blurred or you have other changes in sight for a short time, do not drive or operate other machines until your vision is clear. This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
Enpred Eye Drop is a topical steroid (an anti-inflammatory medicine). It works by stopping the release of certain natural substances in the eye that are responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

To reduce the amount of Enpred Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

Enpred Eye Drop is generally prescribed for 7 days. You should take this medicine for a duration given by your doctor. Avoid prolonged use, as it may cause unwanted side effects.
Avoid prolonged use, as it may cause cataracts (clouding of the eye) and also increases the risk of a secondary eye infection. Also, do not wear contact lenses while using this eyedrop.
Instill one drop of Enpred Eye Drop into the affected eye 4 times daily starting 24 hours after surgery and continuing throughout the first 2 weeks of the postoperative period, then
reduce as determined by your doctor based on the clinical response. Always consult your doctor if you have any doubts and follow his instructions and dosage in using the eye drop.
Before you are prescribed this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of eye allergy, eye infections, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye, diabetes, or are allergic to steroids since the component in this eye drop (difluprednate) is a steroid.
While using this medicine, your doctor will prescribe you eye tests frequently to monitor eye pressure. This is because with Enpred Eye Drop there is a risk for an increase in pressure inside the eye or the formation of cataracts, both of which can lead to gradual vision loss.
