Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Livotec Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Livotec Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Livotec Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Livotec Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Livotec Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of Livotec Tablet may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply
Livotec Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Livotec Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Livotec Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Livotec Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Livotec Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Livotec Tablet is recommended.
