Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. D Cold Total Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid D Cold Total Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
D Cold Total Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Caffeine and Phenylephrine, which relieves common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

D Cold Total Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
D Cold Total Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
D Cold Total Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
D Cold Total Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of D Cold Total Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised for dose adjustment.
