Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Livopill -DS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Livopill -DS Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Metadoxine, Silymarin, Folic Acid and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Metadoxine is an antioxidant which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Silymarin also protects the liver by increasing alcohol elimination from the blood and tissues, thus preventing liver damage. Folic Acid and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) provide essential nutrients.

Livopill -DS Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Livopill -DS Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
No information is available on the use of Livopill -DS Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
It is not known whether Livopill -DS Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Livopill -DS Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Livopill -DS Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
