Geether-L 80mg/480mg Tablet FC is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Artemether and Lumefantrine, which treats malaria. These medicines work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Geether-L 80mg/480mg Tablet FC is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Geether-L 80mg/480mg Tablet FC may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
