Compound Benzoin Liquid contains Benzoin - 10% w/v, Storax - 10% w/v, Aloe – 2% w/v.
Role of key ingredients:
Benzoin is used on canker sores in and around the mouth to protect and heal them. It also helps to soothe minor irritation of nose and throat.
Storax is an oily resin obtained from tree trunk of balsam. It is applied directly to the skin to protect wounds, or to treat ulcers and scabies.
Aloe is very effective in conditions such as burns and sunburns.
Compound Benzoin Liquid is used as antiseptic. It is intended for mild antisepsis for skin, cuts and abrasions.
Directions of use:
The usual recommended use for first-aid treatment is to apply to affected area of minor cuts and abrasions. It can be mixed with hot water and inhaled as steam to soothe minor irritation of nose and throat.
