Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Levocet Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Levocet Syrup is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Levocet Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Levocet Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Levocet Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of Levocet Syrup may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply
Levocet Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Levocet Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Levocet Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Levocet Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Levocet Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Levocet Syrup is recommended.
