Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Domstal O Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
Take Domstal O Capsule 30 minutes before food.
Domstal O Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Omeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Related Warnings
Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
Domstal O Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Domstal O Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Domstal O Capsule may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.
Domstal O Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Domstal O Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Use of Domstal O Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
