Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Benitowa-TM Tablet is to be taken with food.
Benitowa-TM Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Benidipine and Telmisartan, which lowers blood pressure effectively. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Taking Telmisartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.
Benitowa-TM Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients while on Benitowa-TM Tablet. If you are affected in this way, your ability to drive may be impaired.
There is limited information available on the use of Benitowa-TM Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Benitowa-TM Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Benitowa-TM Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Benitowa-TM Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
