Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sildosol 8 mg Capsule is to be taken with food.
Avoid Sildosol 8 mg Capsule with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
Sildosol 8 mg Capsule is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily.
Related Warnings
Taking Silodosin with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience a headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Sildosol 8 mg Capsule is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
No information is available on the use of Sildosol 8 mg Capsule during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients while on Sildosol 8 mg Capsule. If you are affected in this way, your ability to drive may be impaired.
Sildosol 8 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sildosol 8 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Sildosol 8 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
