This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Ketogate Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Gatifloxacin and Ketorolac which treat infections. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Ketogate Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Ketogate Eye Drop is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Ketogate Eye Drop may cause diarrhea or rash in the baby
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Ketogate Eye Drop may make you feel dizzy, tired or drowsy, you may also get headaches, visual disturbances, vertigo or have difficulty sleeping. This may affect your driving ability.
