Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Budez CR Capsule is to be taken with food.
Budez CR Capsule is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause the inner surface of the large intestine (colon and rectum) to become ulcerated and inflamed (swollen) resulting in pain.

Budez CR Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Budez CR Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Budez CR Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Budez CR Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Budez CR Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Budez CR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Budez CR Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Budez CR Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease as the data available in these patients is very limited.
