How to use Lupinace Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lupinace Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Medicine Works

Lupinace Tablet is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

Lupinace Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Lupinace Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Use of Lupinace Tablet immediately after child birth should be avoided.

Lupinace Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Lupinace Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lupinace Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function test, and potassium levels is recommended while you are taking this medicine.

  • It protects kidney function, which is especially useful for people with diabetes or mild-to-moderate kidney diseases.
  • Lupinace Tablet can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Take it preferably at bedtime and rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Let your doctor know about any dizziness, cough, or throat irritation that does not go away.
  • It may increase the level of potassium in blood. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
  • Do not take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Lupinace Tablet.
