Ketotreat Tablet is a form of essential amino acid. When given as a therapy, it exerts a metabolic benefit to the body. Ketotreat Tablet is most commonly used as nutrition therapy or dietary supplements in patients with chronic kidney failure. This medicine prevents the unnecessary increase in urea levels in the blood due to the intake of non-essential amino acids in patients with kidney failure.
Most commonly, Ketotreat Tablet is used as a nutritional supplement in long-term kidney disease. Ketotreat Tablet is also given during heart surgery to reduce the chances of complications. It is also reported to be rarely used along with physiotherapy in the treatment of pain in tendons. It may also be used in treating intestinal and stomach disorders, lung diseases, and as an add-on treatment in bacterial infections, but very rarely.
Ketotreat Tablet is a combination of various essential amino acids.
