Mext 7.5 F Combipack may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients.The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, hair loss, low number of blood cells (anemia) and decreases in white blood cell count. The doctor may ask you to undergo a few blood tests before or during the treatment.Your doctor may prescribe you to undergo blood tests before or during the treatment. You may be given supplements to overcome the deficiency caused by this medicine. It is advised to add more vegetables and fruits in your diet to overcome any such deficiency.This medicine is not safe to use in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any disease or are taking any medicines. It is advised not to avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. It is strictly advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery while you are on the treatment.

Mext 7.5 F Combipack is a combination of two medicines: Methotrexate and Folic Acid. Methotrexate is an anticancer and immunosuppressive medication. It works in cancer by slowing the growth of cancer cells by blocking building blocks that cancer cells need to grow. It also works in autoimmune disease by decreasing the activity of body's immune system and prevents the body from attacking itself. Folic Acid, a form of vitamin B is added to prevent Folic Acid deficiency caused by Methotrexate.
