Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Dip the tablet in lukewarm water just to moisten it. Lie on your back and gently insert the tablet into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. It is best to use it just before bedtime.
Trida Tablet VT is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Lactobacillus and Tinidazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stop the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which maintains the vagina in a healthy condition by producing anti-infectious substances. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.

Trida Tablet VT may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Trida Tablet VT should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Trida Tablet VT is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
