How to use Anacin Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Anacin Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Medicine Works

Anacin Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aspirin/Acetylsalicylic acid and Caffeine which relieve headache. Aspirin works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Caffeine narrows the blood vessels in the brain to reduce headache.

Anacin Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Anacin Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Anacin Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Anacin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Anacin Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Anacin Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
