Mepsonate 40 mg Injection is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Mepsonate 40 mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Mepsonate 40 mg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Undesirable effects, such as dizziness, vertigo, visual disturbances and fatigue are possible after treatment with Mepsonate 40 mg Injection. This may affect your driving ability.
Mepsonate 40 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Mepsonate 40 mg Injection is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of Mepsonate 40 mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
