How to use Prostado 0.4mg Tablet ER

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prostado 0.4 mg Tablet ER is to be taken with food.
Take Tamsulosin 30-60 minutes after the same meal each day.

How Medicine Works

Prostado 0.4 mg Tablet ER is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.

Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Prostado 0.4 mg Tablet ER is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
