Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sulboxa Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it preferably half to one hour before food.
Sulboxa Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ampicillin and Sulbactam. Ampicillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ampicillin against bacteria.

Sulboxa Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Sulboxa Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
It is not known whether Sulboxa Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Sulboxa Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sulboxa Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Sulboxa Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
