Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Guaifenesin and terbutaline. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of X Par 100 mg/2.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
