Sec 1000 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial & parasitic infections. It is used in infections of the brain, reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, vagina, and other areas of the body.

Sec 1000 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Sec 1000 mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Sec 1000 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Sec 1000 mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Sec 1000 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sec 1000 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
