Pantoprazole (20mg)
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Panido 20 mg Tablet MD may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.

Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is recommended.
However, the use of Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is not advised along with other medicines used for the treatment of Helicobacter Pylori infection.
Panido 20 mg Tablet MD is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Panido 20 mg Tablet MD may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
