How Medicine Works

Neo Hepatex Injection is a combination of two medicines: Liver Extract and Thiamine(Vitamin B1). Liver Extract is given as an iron supplement and works by stimulating the production of red blood cells. While Thiamine(Vitamin B1) acts as a coenzyme for the carbohydrates metabolism and provides the essential nutrients to the body. Together they increase the number of liver cells.

Neo Hepatex Injection is used for the treatment of various liver diseases.
Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy, and every 6 months thereafter.
You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Neo Hepatex Injection.
Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning.
Avoid fatty food, take a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
