This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.
Otodac-DX Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Dexamethasone. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. This treats your ear infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy.

Otodac-DX Ear Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Otodac-DX Ear Drop is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
