Take this medicine 1 hour before or 2 hours after food.
Multimix 50 mg/15 mg/2 mg Liquid is a combination of three medicines: Theophylline, Ephedrine and Bromhexine. Theophylline is a bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Ephedrine is a sympathomimetic agonist which works on the blood vessels and increases the blood flow to heart and lungs. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Multimix 50 mg/15 mg/2 mg Liquid may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
