Orex Cream is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Tannic Acid. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the mouth. Tannic Acid is an astringent which works by forming a protective layer over mouth sores while exerting antiviral and antibacterial effects.
