Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Biospan 10 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Biospan 10 mg Tablet is an anti-muscarinic. It works by decreasing the stomach secretions such as mucus and acids to relax the gut muscles. By doing this, it relieves abdominal cramps and pain.

Biospan 10 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Biospan 10 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Biospan 10 mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
As Biospan 10 mg Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision which may impair driving.
Biospan 10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Biospan 10 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
