Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. D Rozavel 20 Tablet is to be taken with food.
D Rozavel 20 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Rosuvastatin.

Taking alcohol with Rosuvastatin increases the chances of liver dysfunction.
D Rozavel 20 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
D Rozavel 20 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
D Rozavel 20 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
D Rozavel 20 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of D Rozavel 20 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
