Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Foly-Act Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Foly-Act Tablet is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby"s brain and spinal cord.

Foly-Act Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Foly-Act Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy.
Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.
Foly-Act Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Foly-Act Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Foly-Act Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Foly-Act Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
