Doxycycline (100mg)
Nab 100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in the treatment of common community-acquired bacterial infections such as those of skin and soft tissues (acne).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nab 100 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine one hour before food or two hours after food, with a full glass of water. You can take this medicine with food if it upsets your stomach.
Avoid Nab 100 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
Nab 100 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Nab 100 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Nab 100 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nab 100 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Nab 100 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Nab 100 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
