Ticogem 400 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Ticogem 400 mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
You may have headaches or feel dizzy while being treated with Ticogem 400 mg Injection. If this happens, do not drive.
Ticogem 400 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ticogem 400 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Ticogem 400 mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ticogem 400 mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
