Check the label before use. Take the mouthwash in the quantity as advised by your doctor and put it in your mouth. Swish for 30 seconds to 1 minute and spit it. Do not swallow. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after rinsing.

It is advisable not to wear dentures while applying Emergel Mouth Wash. You can apply the medicine onto the sore area, and leave at least 30 minutes before reinserting the dentures.
Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps) which can make the pain and sting worse.
Along with using Emergel Mouth Wash use a soft toothbrush, avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying this medicine, avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth and stop smoking completely.
