Isotroy Inhaler is used for general Anaesthesia.

Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release the medication and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.
Isotroy Inhaler is put into a special anaesthetic machine (vaporiser) where it becomes a gas. Thereafter, it mixes with the oxygen that you breathe in, and induces reversible loss of consciousness. This allows surgical procedures to be carried out without pain and distress.

Isotroy Inhaler may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Isotroy Inhaler is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
