Cortent N Cream is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Neomycin, which treats bacterial skin infections Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Cortent N Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Cortent N Cream is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
