Tropine 0.6 mg Injection is an anticholinergic medication. It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine). This helps dry up secretions (saliva, sweat, etc.) from glands before surgery, increases a low heart rate and decreases intestinal contractions (spasms). It also works as an antidote in certain types of poisoning and reverses the side effects of certain muscle relaxing medicines.

Tropine 0.6 mg Injection may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Tropine 0.6 mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Tropine 0.6 mg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Milk secretion may decrease.
Tropine 0.6 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
