Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lifepill 3 Capsule ER is to be taken with food.
Lifepill 3 Capsule ER is a combination of three medicines: Atorvastatin, ramipril and metoprolol which treat high blood pressure associated with high cholesterol levels. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly. Metoprolol is a beta blocker which works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.

Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Lifepill 3 Capsule ER is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lifepill 3 Capsule ER is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lifepill 3 Capsule ER may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Lifepill 3 Capsule ER should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lifepill 3 Capsule ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
